How to complain

  1. About content or a person in the app: the fastest way is to report it in the app. You get a report number.
  2. About a decision on your account: appeal in the app under You > Safety; see how to appeal.
  3. Anything else, or if you cannot use the app: email the Grievance Officer. Include your phone number with country code (so we can find the account), the report number if you have one, what happened and when, and what you are asking for. Do not send verification codes, PINs or passwords.

We cannot read end-to-end encrypted chats. If your complaint is about a message, include the message yourself, ideally by reporting it in the app, which attaches it.

If you believe something on SpawnPoint infringes your copyright, trademark or other right, send a notice to spawnpoint.app@esgr.studio with:

  1. your name and contact details, and whom you act for if not yourself;
  2. the work or right you say is infringed, with proof of ownership where you have it (for example a registration number or a link to the original);
  3. where the material is on SpawnPoint: the name of the group or community, the display name of the person who shared it, the date, and the report number if you or a member reported it in the app. Because chats are encrypted, we can act only on material we can identify from what you send;
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
  6. your signature (a typed name is enough).

If your content was removed after such a notice and you believe that was a mistake, reply to the same address with your reasons. Accounts that infringe repeatedly are restricted or banned under the Community Rules.
